Throughout 2025, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis continued its commitment to the people and communities of the Eighth Federal Reserve District and the nation. Connecting Main Street and monetary policy, our work combined economic insights with real-world impact.

Our commitment to serving the public began more than a century ago and continues today—at our headquarters in St. Louis and in our branch cities of Little Rock, Ark., Louisville, Ky., and Memphis, Tenn.

This section of our annual report illustrates how we carried out this work in 2025—listening, learning and acting on behalf of the American people. On the following pages, explore the stories, data and achievements that defined our year.

Building on a Legacy of Service: Head Office Centennial

In 2025, we marked 100 years in our main building in downtown St. Louis. (See the video.) That historic structure builds on the legacy of public servants who have worked to support a strong and resilient economy for all.

St. Louis Fed headquarters, at Broadway and Locust Street, opened on June 1, 1925.
