Michael J. Kraus
Mike Kraus joined the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in 2019. He currently serves as executive vice president and Research/Public Information Business Line chief information officer, leading the technology delivery for several critical business lines, including Economic Research, Public Information, Community Development, Government Relations, Regional Outreach and Internal Communications.
Prior to joining the St. Louis Fed, Kraus was a staff vice president with Centene Corp., a Fortune 20 managed healthcare provider. He also helped lead Grady Health System’s enterprise IT transformation. Kraus began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led and implemented numerous digital change initiatives and strategic transformational efforts. His prior experience spans leading teams and partnering with business functions to deliver business-aligned outcomes in a secure, resilient and cost-effective manner.
Kraus received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, studying psychology and computer information sciences. He serves on the planning board of Swim Across America, a nonprofit agency dedicated to hosting charity swims that fund local cancer research and patient programs.
