SEC - General policy statement on sequencing of the compliance dates for final rules applicable to security-based swaps.

Summary:
Comments are requested on a general policy statement (Statement) concerning the anticipated sequencing of compliance dates for final rules establishing a framework for the regulation of security-based swaps and security-based swap market participants. The Statement presents a sequencing of the compliance dates for the final rules by grouping them into five categories and describes the interconnectedness of the compliance dates for the rules, both within and among the five categories. The Statement also describes the timing of the expiration of exemptions previously granted by the SEC (76 FR 12645). On May 23, 2013, the SEC reopened the comment period (78 FR 30800).
