Federal Reserve USA Today Education Partnership

A Unique and Innovative Project-Based Learning Resource

This online project is designed to teach students about the Federal Reserve System via its education web site, www.FederalReserveEducation.org. Student groups explore the Fed’s web site and complete the front page of a USA TODAY-style newspaper for Sept. 12, 2001. The online lesson provides some articles, headlines, graphics, captions and a template for student newspapers. Students must find, comprehend and synthesize information. They will have the opportunity to be inventive. This project is located at www.usatoday.com/educate/ federalreserve/index.html.
