Out for CommentProposed Changes To Regulations AA, DD and ZThe Fed has proposed several rules to prohibit certain practices regarding credit cards and overdraft services. Practices affected include “two-cycle” billing, rate increases on pre-existing credit card balances, minimum payments and automatic overdrafts. Comments on changes to Regulation AA (Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices) are due Aug. 4. The proposals would also affect Regulation DD (Truth in Savings Act) and Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act); comments on these changes are due July 18. Follow the link above to submit comments. |
