Directories Urban Sprawl, Urban Promise: A Case Study of Memphis, Tennessee, is a research study that examines the effects of urban sprawl on the Memphis MSA. David H. Ciscel, a Memphis-area economist, prepared this study for the St. Louis Fed's Community Affairs Department.
