The Federal Reserve Bank
of St. Louis The Federal Reserve Bank of St.
Louis is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks, which together with the Board of
Governors make up the nation's central bank. The Fed carries out U.S. monetary
policy, regulates certain depository institutions, provides wholesale-priced
services to banks and acts as fiscal agent for the U.S. Treasury. The St. Louis
Fed serves the Eighth Federal Reserve District, which includes all of Arkansas,
eastern Missouri, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, western Kentucky, western
Tennessee and northern Mississippi. Branch offices are located in Little Rock,
Louisville and Memphis.
