Robert H. Rasche
Executive Vice President and Senior Policy Adviser

Robert H. Rasche is an executive vice president and senior policy adviser at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He received his B.A. degree from Yale University in 1963 and A.M. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan in 1965 and 1966, respectively. His principal research interests are monetary economics and macroeconomics.
Mr. Rasche joined the Michigan State faculty in 1972 and was named professor of economics in 1975. He chaired the university's economics department from 1980 to 1984. He served as assistant professor of economics at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, from 1966 to 1972. Rasche has also been a visiting scholar at the St. Louis and San Francisco Federal Reserve banks and the Bank of Japan, a member of the Michigan Governor's Council of Economic Advisers, and a consultant to several business organizations.
