Ms. Karr is senior vice president and general counsel of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. As senior vice president, Ms. Karr has responsibility for the Bank's Legal division, serves as the Bank's ethics officer and is secretary to the Bank's board of directors. She joined the Bank as its general counsel and secretary in 1991. Prior to that time, Ms. Karr was a partner with the St. Louis law firm of Peper, Martin, Jensen, Maichel and Hetlage (now Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP). Ms. Karr received a B.A. in History from Washington University in 1977 and a J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in 1979.
