St. Louis Fed Appoints Price To Lead New Office of Minority and Women Inclusion
ST. LOUIS –James A. Price, vice president of Diversity and Inclusion and the District’s Equal Employment Opportunity officer, has been appointed director of the new Office of Minority and Women Inclusion at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
In his new role, Price will be responsible for developing standards and procedures to ensure the inclusion of minorities and women in all activities of the Bank, including procurement and work force diversity.
The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 required that each Reserve bank and the Board of Governors, as well as other federal regulatory agencies, establish an Office of Minority and Women Inclusion.
Price has served as vice president of Diversity and Inclusion and as the District’s Equal Employment Opportunity officer since 2008. During his career with the St. Louis Fed, Price has held a variety of leadership positions at the Bank in St. Louis and at its Memphis Branch. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Culver-Stockton College, in Canton, Mo.
