Nov. 7, 2008 | 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

University of Arkansas
Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development

“Going green” is a 21st-century buzzword for being environmentally friendly to our ecosystem. What are the costs and benefits of going green? How much of an impact does “going green” have on our economic choices? The Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the Bessie B. Moore Center on Economic Education are promoting economic education through this summit on environmental issues. This conference is designed for middle- and high-school teachers who want to gain knowledge and skills to teach green initiatives in their classrooms. A panel of experts will discuss the costs and benefits of going green.

Professional development hours will be given for your participation.

Please register no later than Oct. 23. For more information, contact Julie Kerr at 501-324-8296 or Julie.A.Kerr@stls.frb.org.

The Economic Summit is presented by the Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Bessie B. Moore Center on Economic Education, the Arkansas Securities Department and Economics Arkansas.
