Brief description of the session:
Rationale: How does your idea further community economic development either as an innovative process or as an innovative result? Describe insights, techniques and examples or effective and novel applications.
Soap Box: The session is a facilitated informal discussion and debate. Could be a small group roundtable in a nearby coffee shop. 60-90 minutes.
Sit and Listen: This session is more cerebral and involves theory or a research presentation with thoughtful analysis. 60-90 minutes.
Tools and Techniques: A more traditional show-and-tell panel of case studies and best practices with practical applications. 60-90 minutes.
Documentary films or other multimedia with discussion. 60-90 minutes.
Move and Shake: Hands-on games, exercises, demonstrations and performances. 90 minutes.
Collaboratory: Resembles a formal think tank with participatory design and planning to take an idea to action. 90-120 minutes.

If selected, presenters will provide presentation materials no later than April 9, 2007, with permission to publish them as part of the conference proceedings.
Presenters are responsible for all expenses related to the conference, including travel and hotel accommodations. The conference registration fee for presenters will be discounted to $185.
