Preparing for the Conference

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is pleased to announce the addition of Freddie Mac to the group of conference sponsors.   

The early bird registration fee has expired. The standard registration fee is $350.

The Chase Park Plaza has extended the deadline for the conference room rate of $129 a night. The discounted fee will be offered for an undetermined amount of time.

A book event and signing with Paul C. Light is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Left Bank Books, 399 N. Euclid, St. Louis, MO 63108.

The Art and Science of Innovation Tour will include Stereotaxis Corp., ArtWorks St. Louis and the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts.  Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, indicate the tour on the conference registration form.

A Local Information page has been added to the web site. Please check it out and make plans to stay over the weekend in St. Louis. The 2006 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals are even in town May 4-9!

Please visit the new Breakout Sessions page to view the topics and presenters that will be at the conference. Nearly 40 sessions will be presented with a variety of formats in four general areas: entrepreneurship, economic development, finance and housing.

Themes have been selected for two of the special features at the conference. The Party by the Pool will be "An Evening of Inspiration," and the Hospitality Room will become a showcase with "What's Your Game Plan?"
