The Implications of Financial Regulatory Reform: A Series of Discussions on the Dodd-Frank Act
Between late August and December 2010, the St. Louis Fed hosted a special lunchtime series of panel discussions that focused on the implications of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, which had become law that July. Each of the discussions featured senior St. Louis Fed officials and top banking, leading and regulatory experts exploring various aspects of the Act, such as the newly created Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the new Financial Stability Oversight Council and "too big to fail."
